All manner of aliens exist on the Vitrola spaceship. There is just one problem, none of them wanted to be there, including Cassie Cross. What started out as a day of winter shopping turned into a life-altering choice. Stay and be destroyed with the rest of the planet? Or face an unknown future in the seat of an alien shuttlecraft? After jumping onto the ship of a timid alien scientist, Cassie is thrust into the world of a universe-dominating civilization.
